Aluminum mylar is made of aluminum foil and PET film, PET is also called mylar film or polyester film. The thicnkness of aluminum foil is 0.007mm to 0.1mm, and the thickness of PET film is from 0.004mm to 0.1mm, the PET film can strengthen the aluminum mylar tape's tensile strength, the aluminum foil are of good electrical conductivity, so it has good EMI shielding performance. Aluminum mylar is widly used in ethernet cable shielding such as CAT6 cable and CAT 7 cable and signal cable such as coaxial cable. It is also used in LED LCD screen, mobile phone, digital camera, DVD and other electronic equipments.
